Pakistan tourism by Province:


Pakistan has four provinces (Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), one federal territory (Islamabad capital of Pakistan) and two autonomous regions (Gilgit Baltistan and Azad Kashmir).





Gilgit Baltistan an administrative unit of Pakistan. Gilgit and Skardu is the hub of tourism. This region is the home of the world's highest mountain ranges. The main ranges are the Karakoram and the Himalayas. The world's highest mountain K2 is also located in this region.


World’s three largest glaciers (Baltoro Glacier, Baifo Glacier, and Batura Glacier) are also found in Gilgit-Baltistan. There are several high altitude lakes in Gilgit-Baltistan. Includes Sheosar Lake, Satpara lake, Katzura lake, and Katpana lake are located in Skardu and Rama lake, Rush Lake, and Borith lake are located in Hunza.


Katpana Desert is a high altitude desert also known as the cold desert located near the Skardu, northern Gilgit-Baltistan. It contains the large sand dunes, in winter that are covered by the snow. The most visited site of the cold desert is near Skardu Airport.

Pakistan tourism at Balochistan


Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan it contains 44% of the total area of Pakistan. The capital of Balochistan is Quetta and an important cultural center in the region. Gwadar city is quickly developing a town that aims to serve as a hub of future industry and shipping activity.


 Several tribes constitute to make people of Balochistan. The major three tribes are Pashtoon and Baloch. The main tribes of Balochi are Rind, Lashar, Marri, Jamot, Ahmedzai, Langove, Kenazai, and Khal. Each tribe has its further sub-tribes. The chief of the tribe is called Sardar while the head of the sub-tribe is known as Malik or Mir. Sardars.


Balochi people celebrate the religious (Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, and Eid-Meladun-Nabi) and social festivals. At these festivals, people wear new dresses and cook special dishes and visit each other.


There are several beautiful places for the vistors to visit included Hazaraganji-Chiltan National park, Hanna Lake, Quetta Geological Museum, Balochistan Arts council Library, Quetta Archaeological Museum, and as well as the major site of Ziarat Quaid-e-Azam Residency. Another historical place of Balochistan is Sibi. Balochistan also has several mountain passes included Lak pass, Khojak pass, and Harnai pass.





Pakistan tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is situated in the northwest of Pakistan. This is also known as the hub of tourism. This province contains various valleys, hills, and agricultural land. Peshawar is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This city has several sites including Bala Hisar Fort, Peshawar museum, and Mohabbat khan Mosque. Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas are the main tourist point of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Karakoram highway connects the city which ends in china.


There are several mountain passes in this province included Khyber Pass which is one of the most famous passes which connects Afghanistan with Pakistan. Khyber Pass is also the famous trade route for trucks and Lorries. Gilgit which is also known as the roof of the world is the valley of Pakistan. 


Pakistan tourism in Punjab


Punjab is the second largest province of Pakistan and first according to the population. It is also known as the land of five rivers. This is the hub of different cultures and civilizations. There are a large number of cities composition in Punjab. Lahore is the capital of Punjab which is the second-largest city of Pakistan and also known as the cultural heart of Pakistan. Lahore fort and Shalimar Garden are the places that the Mugal Empire left behind which are now recognized as world heritage sites. The major sites of Punjab which are the most visited places are included Badshahi Mosque, the Wazir Khan Mosque, Tomb of Jahangir, and the Nur Jahan, Lahore fort, Minare Pakistan and Chaburji. These places also have a large number of visitors included Data Durbar, Lahore Museum, Lahore Zoo, Tomb of Shah Jamal, and Gaddafi Stadium.

Pakistan tourism in Islamabad


Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. Located in the northern region of Pakistan and situated between the District Rawalpindi and Margalla hills. The largest Mosque of South Asia is located in this region named Faisal Mosque. There are several tourist places for the visitor in the Islamabad, one of the famous places are Margalla hills National park, Daman-i-Koh, Rawal lake, Simli lake and the one of the famous Fatima Jinnah Park. This city is ranked as the second most beautiful capital city in all over the world.
